St. Walburge's, Preston. Ascend the spire at night.
For the first time the public can climb the 172 steps of St. Walburge's spire at night for panoramic views of Preston and beyond. The spire is the third tallest in the UK and contains the heaviest swinging bell in Lancashire. You can also have a guided tour of this magnificent, Grade 1 listed, church.
For a limited time only:
Sat 12th, 19th and 26th January, 7.30-8.30pm.
£8.50 towards church restoration including refreshments.
Children over 7 welcome when accompanied by an adult.
